Have you ever stripped a bleeder screw before?
The plastic bleeder screws that come standard on BMW cooling systems do their job pretty well. However, they can strip pretty easily if you're careful. It will be impossible to finish bleeding your cooling system if you strip a bleeder screw. This brass version is significantly more durable and will resist stripping or damage that occurs to its plastic counterparts.
